Solved Once per turn.

"Once per turn". Does this string of words mean only once per one of your turns. or once per either players turn? I'm like 99% sure it's only during owners turn. but can't hurt to be sure.

ONLY during controllerĀ“s turn, unless stated otherwise in the card (like "this effect can be activated during either player turn")

Most often, this refers to an ignition effect that can only be used on your own turn. In some cases, the words "once per turn" appear in other effects, though, so you have to apply a bit of common sense.

For example, on Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En, it says "Once per turn," but the condition is when the opponent activates a spell or trap card, so since opponents can activate those cards on their own turn, you can see that this effect works on the opponent's turn as well (which makes it a quick effect and not an ignition effect). If you look at something like Chaos Sorcerer, though, nothing about its effect indicates it should be usable on the opponent's turn, so you can see that it is just a normal ignition effect.

"Once per turn" doesn't mean "Once per your turn" nor "Once per either player's turn".

A "Once per turn" Ignition effect of a monster, such as Fabled Raven, can be activated during the controller's Main Phase 1 or 2 only, unless it says otherwise.

A "Once per turn" Trigger effect of a monster can be activated during either player's turn, anytime outside of the Damage Step, unless it says otherwise. The major exception is if the effect includes the word "negate", such as Stardust Dragon or Evolzar Laggia, which typically means it can also be activated during either player's Damage Step (unless Konami has ruled otherwise; always keep an eye on Wikia to make sure)

A "Once per turn" effect of a Continuous Trap Card, such as Dark Smog, can be activated during either player's turn, anytime outside of the Damage Step, unless it says otherwise.

Hope that answers your question Razz

"Once per turn" means you can activate the effect once per turn, and nothing more.

The times at which is can be used are limited by the effect itself.

This is the best answer here (and Tuvillo since he said the same thing, only a bit longer)
