Welcome to Van's Vintage Yugioh Tourny! Ever want to travel back in time to a time were yugioh was simplier? Now here is your chance! In this tourny you will NOT be seeing those nasty Synchros and Xyz cards. The rules will be explained shortly. The tourny will have 16 players.

Rules:
-You cannot use Xyz or Syncros, tuner are also forbidden. (duh)
-Legend of Blue Eyes to Spell Ruler (TCG)
-October 2002 Banlist Applies with a few alterations that will be added.
-16 player single eliminationn
-OCG cards made before LOB are allowed, as well as any OCG card made before Sept. 2002 that is not in a mainstream set (ex. promos and tournement packs)

Banlist changed to October 2002 Banlist. Keep in mind Graceful Charity came out in 2003.

Van, I think it's also important to note that you can use cards from the Yugi and Kaiba starter decks as they were released in March of 2002, but not the Joey and Pegasus ones as they were released in 2003/4.

I would prefer not to see CCV and Vorse Raider. 1900 beater was broke back then. With all the MRL cards CCV is overkill in terms of hand control.

Van, there's no point in banning everything that's not an 1800 beater... because if they're all unbanned it's going to be just as balanced... You also need to put Trunade and Last Will at limited, though.
