De-Spell 300px-DeSpellSKE-NA-C-1E

Lore: Select 1 Spell Card on the field and destroy it. If the selected card is Set, pick up and see the card. If it is a Spell Card, it is destroyed. If it is a Trap Card, return it to its original position.

De-Spell is useful for getting rid of Continuous or Limited Time Spell Cards, such as "Swords of Revealing Light", and "Spell Absorption". However, it has two alternate uses. One is as a bluff or decoy when set in your M/T zone. The other is more active. If you want to carry out an attack, but your opponent has a card in the Spell/Trap Zone, De-Spell can be used to find out if it poses a threat. If it's just a Spell Card, it's destroyed. If, however, the card is a Trap Card, you can see what is and prepare.

Pro card is pro IMO. Should be run @3 in any deck =P

This card only gives something to fear about if you hit a trap.

You can't force the activation of Solemn Judgment with Bait Doll.The card force the activation after its effects resolved.Solemn Judgment(or any counter trap) cannot be activated in response to nothing.

But of course if your opponent want,he could chain Solem to your bait doll.

I did that once but I was running Counter Fairies and I really wanted to bring out Van'Dalgyon.
