Moments where you felt awesome

the first time I dropped quasar with a deck other than my flamvell lightsworn merchant.

Lemme explain the situation here. I'm playing a Naturia deck, and I don't know what this guy was playing. I go first. I play Mantis on my first turn and Set Safe Zone. He activates SoRL on his first turn and Sets a monster. My 2nd turn, he activates Jar of Greed. I Tribute Summon Bamboo Shoot by Tributing Mantis. His 2nd Turn, he activates Magical Mallet. I point out he can't and resolves anyway. He sets two cards. My 3rd turn, he activates another Jar of Greed. I point out again that he can't. He quits.

Gotta love cheaters.

Awesome moment when I use a test deck and I force a person to quit when they have plenty of Life Points!

Apart from making people rage with maxx c and killing a shooting quasar dragon, then the shooting star dragon proceeding it? Oh, here:

I play on rated this time. I go second in this duel and manage to get Bamboo Shoot out on my 2nd turn. The moment I do, he activates Skill drain, but I counter with Exterio's Fang, negating it. I pretty much dominate this duel with Bamboo Shoot, thanks to Safe Zone and Gaia Power. His last words on the chat box creeped me out, but after that he quits.

What makes this win feel awesome is that he had a higher rating than me ^_^



I realized now he couldn't activate Skill Drain unless he negated Bamboo first, but I guess that's cool. I won, and will be sure to remember.

I felt pretty awesome dumping a gorz on a full field of 4000 attack timelords and winning the next turn, with a king of skull servents.

Oh, right. Moments where I feel awesome are summoning Trishula when I really need it. Out of luck, I remember banishing Gorz in one instance and Grand Mole on another, both cases from the hand ^_^

I love my Trollcasters deck The guy quit when I summoned Jowgen.

Using Inferno Tempest to banish every single monster, leaving only the ones in our hand and on the field, then drawing, Return From the Different Dimension.

If you've read the latest Duel Terminal storyline stuff you'll know that that the Gishki and Verz teamed up. Verz Ouroboros and Evigishki Zeal Gigas battled it out with The Sacred Ptolemys M7 and Gem-Knight Master Dia. It felt so great having the two together at the same time. Plus a later watcher was amazed at seeing a Level 10 Ritual and a Triple Rank 4 Xyz out at the same time. The best part is that I beat my opponent's Wind-Up Loop deck. Good thing I got the first turn and set Compulsory Evacuation Device.

Empty field. Solemn Judgement, T.G. Cyber Magician, and Rush Rhino in hand. Opponent has a card in hand, a set TT (known from PoD), face-up Landoise, Burei, and karakuri merchant (in def). I am at 200 LP, he at 3350.

I draw into Pot of Avarice. Activate and draw into... 2 Miracle Synchro Fusions. Let the fun begin >:D.
Normal Summon cyber, synch wonder magician, destroy TT. MSF summon Supreme Arcanite. Destroy Landoise and merchant by battle. Eff to destroy Burei. MSF with wonder magician on field to SS another Supreme Arcanite, in def. Eff to draw a card. Set SJ and the drawn CotH. Come at me bro!

What a lucky topdeck.

This duel was pretty easy, but this guy took a long time to admit. And once I beat him, he kept increasing and decreasing his Life Points in order to stall. It was in rated, and he even tried to make a draw offer.

His rating was a bit impressive (212/15, I think) but he acted like a newb -_- At least I was patient enough to screw his schemes, and that's good enough for me

1-I had no cards and the opponent had 6 cards. He had 3700 lp and i had 100. My turn: draw kagetokage, summon gogogo golem, then special kagetokage. Xyz for number 39, then chaos xyz to number C39, effect, reduce lavaval dragoon attack to 0 and my number C39 to 4000. I attacked and won the duel.

2-I used Shooting Star Dragon`s effect and revealed 5 tuners.

During my first tournament win when my opponent was left with 800 LP and one face-down monster while I had two Eye of the Typhoon and Only one more letter to complete destiny board.......

Top decking. That's when I've felt most badass.

The first was during the Ls format. I was running Flamvell Stardust Assault and (not necessarily empty hand, just 1 or 2 cards total) and topped literally the PERFECT card for my situation 7 turns in a row! I ended up winning that duel with double Stardust Assault. :]

The second time was more fun. Bluffing a topdecked Book of Moon as a Mirror Force, causing him to switch his Red Dragon Archfiend to defense, allowing me to kill his other monster with RDA's own effect and not lose. Then doing the same thing to another monster next turn, but with Battle Fader on RDAs attack instead. I still lost that one, but it was pretty damn close! :3

My opponent was about to win with "Final Countdown". Just as I was about to end my turn and admit defeat, I noticed I still had "Monster Reborn" in my hand. So I revived their "Cannon Soldier" and Tributed all my monsters, inflicting exactly the right amount of damage to win the game.

Doing a Quasar OTK with Quickdraw Junk Doppel.

Put my HERO in Face-Up and wait him Synchro Swarm to Quasar, I use Super Poly and he try to negate with Solemn Warning Yelling "YES!" just to say he can't do it . Then Great Tornado it to halve everything and do some Fusion Fun to go for game.

Opponent had Ancient Fairy Dragon in Def, REDMD, and Dragon Ravine and 3800 LP

I had Stardust Dragon/AM on field, 2800 LP and that's it

In hand I had Dark Hole and Militum, and hoping to topdeck Aklys

My turn, topdecked Aklys and used both Aklys and Militum to form Vajrayana, nuke Ancient Fairy with Vajrayana eff with Aklys, and killed his REDMD with Vajrayana, then attacked with SD/AM for exact damage for game.

Win or lose, when I play an amazing match.

Played someone a moment ago who was using Machina and lost the first round once Trishula was dropped, no surprise there.

Second round I countered Trishula's summoning with Chaos Hunter then disposed of Trishula with Blood Mefist. I knew he had a Gorz in hand, so I ended my turn there. Didn't have a Divine Wrath to get rid of it again. Dark Hole took out Blood Mefist, Iron-Chain Dragon, and Chaos Hunter. And I won with a summoning of Black Luster Soldier.

Round three I managed to get him down to 200 Life Points. I had Blood Mefist as per custom, Iron-Chain Dragon and Skilled Dark Magician. He summoned Road Warrior, so I hit the field with Torrential Tribute. Summoning Dark Paladin, I thought I had a sure thing as with Iron-Chain Dragon and Star Burst Dragon in the grave I had a 3900 beater that knew no equals until he Veiler'd him, summoned Junk Synchron, Special Summoned Synchron Explorer and used some spell to increase Explorer's level by one.

At this point I'm wondering what he could possibly be going to summon and then I realized it was Brionac. He bounced my Paladin and all that I held dear to me. The only monster I managed to draw before I lost were Summoned Skull and Axe Dragonuite which cost bounced followed by the finishing blow.

I always feel awesome after being apart of a spectacular match.

I was fortunate enough to MST his Skill Drain on my first turn. I forgot how many turns we were in when I dropped Bamboo Shoot, but it didn't hit this guy how screwed he was until he attempted to MST my set card. xD

I feel awesome pretty much every time I play this deck.

My first win with my Crystal Beasts. He was pretty cool, so it's great to meet someone nice for a change.

I used Abundance to clear the field, and summon 3 Crystal Beasts from the grave. I normal summon Mammoth, and then SS Rainbow Dragon. xD

I feel awesome in a duel if I topdeck monster reborn.

I feel awesome when my combo runs by sacrificing some of my LP and my monster like when I am attacking a high ATK monster with Mother Grizzly or Flying Kamakiri #1 and destroy them + reduce my own LP on purpose to special summon the monster I need to form the necessary combo.

Used Gustos against my opponent's Holy Marked deck. I took his Ennead lol.

I built a deck that can FTK with Horakhty (but only when it's traditional format. advanced it can be an STK at best; it requires traps). HERO Worm draw loop ftw.

I used Gustkrake's effect to take out his Tragoedia

Managed to bring out Red-Eyes B. Dragon, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon 2 games in a row.

First time playing Watts. I love them lol. The Huge Revolution is Over and Starlight Road screw any Dark Hole or Black Rose attempts too lol.

Playing against Blackwings.

First turn: Set "Magician's Valkyria" and "Riryoku Field.

Opponent's turn: Sets monster and S/T.

Second turn: Tribute Valkyria for "Disenchanter". Equip it with "Axe of Despair", "Fairy Meteor Crush" and "Mage Power". Attack face-down Vayu and inflict 5000 damage.

Opponent's turn: Draws and forfeits.

Doesn't happen often that I have to use all of my Rituals' control abilities to beat my opponent. Usually I just summon 2 Zeal Gigas and OTK the my opponent. This time I had to use Gustkrake to take out his Battle Fader and Mind Augus to take out his Glow-Up Bulb and Mystic Piper. Feels more fulfilling. Feels nice controlling my opponent on all 3 fronts: field, hand and graveyard.

Won a match 2-0 at the local tournament. I was running Dark Magicians, the other dude had Naturias.

When my Balloon Lizard deck failed epically. I'm trying to reduce the size of my card collection for ease of transport and storage, and the fact that I can't do anything useful with the card overshadows the sentimental value. So that's 1 more card for the trade pile, and 1 step closer to being free of that oversized binder.

So I play two matches against this guy. Both times he goes first, and both times he summons Kristya thanks to Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen. But I still left him nearly powerless when I Bamboo'd his back row and banished his Kristya. He had another but I had Cactus Bouncer and Bamboo Shoot on the field by the time he tried to summon it. xD

Second match comes. He manages to lock me down until half way in the duel, when I use Book of the Moon on Kristya, then summon Lonefire Blossom and then summon Tytannial with its effect. It was pretty close, but Safe Zone and Wall of Thorns saved the day.

When the same fate befell my "Inaba White Rabbit" and Creepy Coneys. So sad to lose all that Normal support, which was the focus of my deck for ages, but unfortunately times change and they don't fit my current play style.

Synchro summoned for Black Rose Dragon, forcing my opponent to use Stardust effect (as planned), then using Rekindling and Synchro Summoning Deity to Banish Stardust Dragon. Felt wondiferous.

Every time I use "Rising Energy" when my opponent attacks a weak monster. For the small, small price of 1 card from the hand, it can boost any monster's ATK by 1500 until the End Phase. Why don't people use it more?
