Just to make sure on this



If this card is on the field, I can special summon and if I have no hand, I don't discard anything, but can still special summon right?

Or am I prohibited from special summoning if I have no hand?

You still can Special Summon with no hand.

No, I just meant if I could still sp summon after I ran out of hand, I'm running an infernity combo with this...

and you should know this card effect is a mandatory one and will start a chain in response to the monster summon (chain link 1 )<<<< this is the main reason i run it in some decks
