Flip Summoning
This isn't so much a card ruling question as a question on the rules. It is somewhat evident in the rulebook under the section on the Main Phase, but this has come up multiple times for me and I want to do a sanity check here.
If you flip summon a monster, can you change that monster to defense position in the same turn?
I am about 98% sure that you can't, but multiple people have done this to me and insisted that you can.
Thanks for your time, future answerers!

You can't change a monster's position immediately after it's Summoned. Period.

Actually you cannot change the battle position of a monster after you manually changed it in the same turn! (that count for Flip Summon too)Ryusui wrote:You can't change a monster's position immediately after it's Summoned. Period.
