ignoring summoning conditions

I'm a bit confused when it comes to cards stating this since people have stated they can summon SKY FIRE with flat top without summoning it properly first, which I don't think is true. If anyone could explain this in complete detail, that would be great. ^^;

The effect of Dark Flattop says it quite clearly that it ignores the summoning conditions. The only catch to this is that there are no rulings for it so it is hard to judge correctly if it can outright ignore SKY FIRE's summoning conditions.

Based on SKY FIRE's own text, seeing as its a nomi monster, I do believe that SKY FIRE can be summoned via Dark Flattop's effect without being summoned properly.

Actually, F.F SKY FIRE is a Semi-Nomi Monster.
It needs to be properly summoned by the effect Summon Reactor - SK first, before it can be special summoned by Dark Flattop's effect (which ignores the summoning conditions of F.F SKY FIRE).

I've even play tested this in the 2011 YGO World Championship DS game.

SKY FIRE is a Nomi monster. And game mechanic states that Nomi monsters cannot be Special Summon from graveyard or banish Zone even by card effects that "ignoring summoning condition" if they aren't properly summoned by its effect before. SO in this situation, you cannot just ditch SKY FIRE into grave and use Dark Flattop to SS it to the field, that's illegal.

F.F SKY FIRE is a Nomi Monster* (as Tsunayoshi and BlackwingRa have posted).

But everything else I've posted and what BlackingRa has posted still holds true.

I said I believe it can be summoned via Dark Flattop's effect. If I am wrong, than I am wrong.

OK that's just your opinion, I get it. And this is information for the topic:
Dark Flattop CAN Special Summon SKY FIRE from grave AFTER it is properly summoned. That's the most used job of Dark Flattop.
