about tribute materials for "Synchro and Xyz Summon"

IDK if this is the right place to ask BUT, I'm trying to learn this game (I actually played this game before and trying to play it again) However there are some or many new things that I don't understand yet. P.S. English is not my native language so be gentle.

About Synchro and Xyz Summon

question: upon summoning this monster/s. does the monster material have to be attached to them.

What I mean is on Tribute summoning the monster being tribute goes to the graveyard.

So,why "Synchro and Xyz Summon" material/s (based on what I saw here)(attached to them on summoning)they should be put to the graveyard and not attached to them immediately on summoning.


and is there a tutorial here about "Synchro and Xyz Summon" it would be great help for us.

Monsters used for a Synchro Summon are sent to the graveyard and then the Synchro Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck.

Monsters used for an Xyz Summon are overlaid on top of each other, and the Xyz Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck and placed on top of the overlaid monsters.

For Synchro Summon, you send the materials to the grave, not tribute.
