Obelisk vs E- Hero Air Neos

Alright, so my opponent has Obelisk and I have Air Neos on the field. Is Air Neos' effect negated by Obelisk own effect or does Neos still get his attack gain?

If this card is Special Summoned, it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. You can Tribute 2 monsters to destroy all monsters your opponent controls. Were you get this idea from?

Air Neos dose not target him he gains the attack from the diffince of lifepoints (if yours is lower)
In this case your attack would go up to 6200 (2500 + 3700)
And air neos would be returned at endphase

I got the idea from still playing even when he summoned Obelisk. It had been a turn since he was played so I thought his Normal Summon Effect was done. With my Air Neos Effect, the attack was 6200. And, since he wasn't targeted by the effect, I thought it would still go through and add on to the attack.

Nothing about air neos' stat boost targets obelisk.

So yes, you can attack and destroy obelisk in battle.

Obelisk's Normal Summon effect is for when it's Normal Summoned. After that window, it's done and you can resume using card effects.

People seem to have this strange Notion that Obelisk is somehow immune to basically everything.

The common misconception is that when obelisk is summoned, spells, traps, and effects can't be activated while it is on the field, but that effect only applies to any chains that might form from its summoning, not for any other part of the duel

Well I'll assume that Obelisk was not summoned that turn so Air Neos could use his effect, it's kinda like a continues(don't know how to spell) effect so he could gain more attack.

It wouldn't matter either way :/

Obelisk's effect only stops cards WHEN IT'S SUMMONED, not DURING THE TURN IT'S SUMMONED. So basically Bottomless Trap Hole and Torrential Tribute cannot be used on him.
