No. Cos this is the "most ridiculous" thread. I said he probably meant to say that TKRO can negate CoH because that is a ridiculous thing to say and is incredibly incorrect. ._.

He meant that T3RCX probably meant to say that someone said Rai-oh CAN negate the special summon from Call of the Haunted.

I asked for the ruling he was correcting, he told me the ruling, and I understood that the guy in the duel thought you could. I don't see the argument here .-.

Not gonna lie, I laughed out loud reading this page XD.

But what I meant was that the correct ruling which I gave was that Rai-oh can only negate inherent summons, while the player in question was convinced that that was just an OCG ruling and didn't apply to TCG, and furthermore that DN associating with OCG was somehow illegal and/or grounds for revoking admin status.

"Continuous Traps are Spell Speed one." I just... really restrained myself for this one.. The kid was really adamant about it. When I told him "No they are spell speed 2" he raged and told me to learn my rulings.

I played some nub and he had clearly normally a explder and suicided with one of my monsters then went ff and milled 2 redmd and wyvern then went ep and thought he could pull both out on my i said no and explained and he ragequit in rated

Some guy told me "Xyz monsters die when they lose all their xyz material", and also that it was only on rulebooks and couldn't be found online.

He also said Negate attack makes it go to the end phase o.O

This happened to me about three months ago:
I had BF Bora, BF Shura and BF Gale, and my opponent had set four magics/trap card abd I use Delta-Crow Antireverse and he said: "You can't active trap from your hand" the I try to explain how its work this card and he didn't want to listen, then he call noob and netdecker and then he rage quit.

Opponent books Laggia when I enter the Main Phase 1. I flip summon it as I hadn't changed its battle position or attacked that turn ( obviously ). They claimed I couldn't, and raged. Shame.

I've had someone tell me I can't tribute monsters from the hand when activating by holy mark monsters' effects and that tributing from the hand becomes discarding

My response-"Have you ever played Ritual Spells before?"

The part that I made in red was when I had two Marauding Captain on the feild for that lock.

Didn't happen on DN and I must admit it wasn't something said... but its the most MAJOR set of misplays I have ever seen

On the previous turn player A attacked a utopia with galaxy eyes so it was on 3500 attack and utopia had no material (also he had a REDMD)

Directly after player B summoned rabbit to get a Dolkka in defense obvilously to try and slow down there death as they had about 3600 lp and a REDMD summon wuld kill them

Player A starts the turn and does this

Mind control utopia (misplay 1)

Activate REDMD effect to special summon alexandrite dragon (there were much stronger dragons in grave) (misplay 2 and 3)

Dolkka negated

Enter the battle phase and attack dolkka with galaxy eyes... Activate galaxy eyes effect (misplay 4)

Dolkka negate

set a monster and give control of utopia back


Player B switches everything to attack and enters the battle phase. Attacks the facedown DECOY DRAGON (misplay 5) with dolkka then lost from Utopia's attack

And after reading this I'm sure your head slammed straight into your desk

I've only been on duel network for a few days, but man people don't know their rulings lmao.

Ever since I started playing on DN I've had people say:

You can't activate Call of the Haunted during the battle phase......wtf?

You can activate pot of duality AFTER special summoning a monster........wtf?

Fifth Hope can be activated by only selecting one elemental hero and sending it back to the deck, you don't need to send back 5.......well this one I didn't find anything about it online but I thought it was common sense that it wouldn't work like that, but I let it slide but still.....wtf?

When you compulsory a monster who is attacking, the attack still goes through even though the monster gets returned to the hand.......wtf?

and so many other things that are just slipping my mind right now, but are starting to get annoying lol. Cant a guy just play a game with someone who knows their rulings? =[

I summoned Bunilla and they said "OH SHI-"


and left the duel...


EDIT* I make a lot of jokes with Bunilla being the strongest card in the game because of this incident.

Me:Lemme confirm that was the correct card

Opponent:tries to stall for 5 mins

Me:Calls Admin

Opponent:stalls for 2 mins than puts card in hand and is like are you happy now well are you? *#uck you*(starts swearing)

Me:Calm down

Opponent:Just go you stupid Mother f*ucker.

Me:

Opponent:Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove,Remove(says it at least 50x I swear)

Me:Remembers to banish Gustarake and starts pumping out some fresh new Gishki and style on his netdecked teir 1

Opponent:Ragequits like he had someone to be.

The opponent only has chaos sorcerer on the field

I told him that it was my turn

I explain that he can't activate it during my turn
He then ragequits...

After a while he PMs me saying that i was a cheating piece of Sh*t

This has happened surprisingly often

Had a good laugh, but was starting to aggravate me.
Any way, he's using Evolsaurs and I'm using Flamvells/Lavals. About 2 turns in he tries to tribute Najasho to special summon from his deck. I spend anywhere from 5-10 minutes waiting for them to see their mistake. Either way I tell them can't. They're so confused. I explain to them that they can't just tribute it to special summon an Evolsaur from their deck. They have to actually tribute it for something. They reverse the plays. Funny thing is, they use Evo-Force next on Lagosuchus.

Now to skip forward a few turns Unfortunately, I didn't have my grave set up the way I want and have any non-tuners that could get me a synchro monster. I use Foolish Burial to put a monster in my grave that would let me synchro summon. I choose Magma Cannoneer. They spend (again) about 5-10 minutes wasting my time explaining to me how to use my deck. How I could've sent another Laval if I had sent handmaiden with Foolish Burial. Within that time, I explain to them how I couldn't because I had no other Lavals (besides Handmaiden) in my grave prior to activating Foolish Burial. Within that time they also try to explain to me how that would work and how I should shut up and listen. After I finally get through to them, I go on as planned.
Skip forward a few more turns

I activated Return from the different Dimension and have my field full Stardust Dragon, Lavalval Dragon, Boost Warrior, Laval Lady and Firedog. I forget to sync then attack so I can SS, but attack first. During my M2, I sync for Red Dragon Archfiend, then normal summon Handmaiden to tune with Lavalval Dragon for Laval The greater. They have the nerve to critique my move because of Red Dragon Archfiend, so I prove them wrong by banishing a Laval instead of destroying Laval the greater.

I guess in short, the most ridiculous thing they said was anything related to judging my plays and trying to tell me how to use my deck.

I may not be the best/strongest, but I'm not 1000+ for nothing.

My friend was dueling this guy, who said that Gigantes needs to banish a monster in the opponents grave in order to special summon itself...

Self explanatory below.

I show prove them wrong by using Rekindling and Synching for Laval Duel Slasher and Dragon. Use my second rekindling and they're all "omg" and synch for another Duel Slasher, then use my other Magma Cannoneer to burn them for 500. I then use Blazing Dust Explosion and finish them off with Direct attacks. I don't usually do this but my patience was running thin from other annoyances and before I leave say "learn anything?"

gotta say this. Opponent summon kizan and kagemushi sets 3 ends. I have a faceup blackwing and anti reverse facedown. I use anti-reverse on his ep. He keeps telling me I need 3 blackwings to use my card, for 10 minutes I have to tell him that Anti-reverse can work with one blackwing on the field, you need 3 to use it from hand. He will not listen to me, I call admin, the admin never shows and after another 15 minutes he el ragequits and i get 2 rating..oh goodie.

Neither of these happened on DN, but they are classic. Both of these happened quite a long time ago, so they are a bit paraphrased.

*First happened on YVD- Some random person requests a duel, we start, and I go first, set a F/D DD warrior lady, a sakuretsu armor, and a mirror force. He draws, and randomly plays BEUD.

Me: Um, you can't do that, you need 3 bewd and poly, or another way to special summon him.
Him: Nu uh, its just summoned like this!
ME: No, it isn't, but im bored, so whatever.

He attacks, and I saku it. He proceeds to say the best line I've ever heard.

Me: It's destroyed.
Him: No it isnt, it stays, you forgot it has 3 HEADS!

I let him keep going because it was hilarious, he attacks, I mirror force it, then he attacks again and I show him he attacked DD. He ragequits and I can't stop laughing.


*Second one happened in real life, playing against a friend of mine in a local tourney. This was way back before most priority rulings. We are both playing exodia decks, it is my turn. He has a F/D Emissary of the afterlife, and I attack and destroy it. We both look through our decks and pull out our last exodia piece.

At the same time: EXODIA! I WIN!

We both just stared at each other, everyone around us cracked up laughing, and we called it a draw.
