Doomcali, Veiler, Drain

He summoned two doomcalis, normal summon and reborn.
He also has skill drain, during his MP1 i use veiler from the hand, knowing that the costs of both doom's will go off, which is to tribute it self, so both should be gone. Is this correct?

Re: Doomcali, Veiler, Drain
Both will tribute themselves for his cost. They will each react in a chain.
Cl1:Veiler
CL2:Doomcal
CL3:Doomcal
Since Doomcal eff for tributing is a cost he will dodge Skill drain. His effect will still resolve. Keep in mind, effects resolve where they activate. So technically Doomcal resolves on the field BUT, he is no longer face-up, so Skill Drain no longer applies to him.

Re: Doomcali, Veiler, Drain
Veiler is a great way to bait out Doomcal. It is a nice one for one that does not lose field advantage, but it does lose hand advantage. Still, it adds a light to your grave while making Veiler into a Smashing Ground/ Fissure.

CL2: Doomcaliber
Cl3: Doomcaliber #2
Doomcaliber #2 will negate Doomcaliber #1, leaving Veiler to resolve properly.

Both Doomcaliber are mandatory, they'll activate both negating the same Veiler
One will resolve without an effect, the other one will negate Veiler

2 Doomcalibur in this situation works like 2 LADD.

Hm. Didn't think both of them would go off literally at the same time in response to Veiler.

This is correct. They will both go after Veiler and not chain to one anothers effect. Talk about killing 2 birds with one Veiler.

You can't special summon Doomcaliber Knight, that's the problem.

This card cannot be special summoned. First 6 words of the card.
I also agree with Joenen, never play two Doomcal, unless you set one. BUT, make sure you are setting him for a good reason.

You can if you play yugioh wrong. Which most people do.
