Because Hopeless Dragon with less dragon makes it 20% cooler. I guess the only thing I'd really have to explain in this deck is Apocralyph. First off, he gives you a free Blue-Eyes if you discard White Stone (and you can even take that White Stone back to grab another if Apocralyph survives the turn anyway, or you recycle the other one if it's there). He's also another dark for Allure or BLS and he can replace a high level dragon in your hand with a low level, which does come in handy (it becomes a +1 instead of just having REDMD spec summon it from your hand). But anyway, I suppose the two Starlight Roads might be overkill, especially if I get REDMD and Lightpulsar in play together. Any suggestions?

Dark Horus gives you more targets for Trade-In. It's also another 3000Atk Beatstick and a target for REDMD.

2 Dragon's Mirror seems like it clogs and Foolish helps with deck thinning.

+1 Red-Eyes Wvyern

3 Wyvern seems mandatory.

I'd also run Torrential Tribute and Trap Dustshoot over the Starlight Roads. Both are far more useful.

Also, -1 Five-Headed Dragon, +1 Leviair the Sea Beast.
