Multiple Ruling questions
- Answered questions:
1-If skill drain is active,GBs can tag out but the newly summoned monster effects will be negated, this doesn't go for GBs being veilered, why?
2-GB Gyzarus is properly summoned then sent to grave, if it's summoned by GB Darius, can it still tag out?
3-Player A controls a face-up attack position GB Laquari, player B controls a face-up attack position Infernity Archfiend, a face-down Infernity Avenger, and a set Infernity Barrier.
Player A enters BP and attacks the face-down monster and destroys it, at the end of BP Player A tags out Laquari and summons Bestiari, activates its effect and targets the set card, is there any reason that prevents player B from activating Barrier, other than having cards in his hand?
4-Player A controls a face-up GB Bestiari and a face-up GB Laquari, an active skill drain, and a set trap stun that was set last turn.
Player B controls a face up Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, and 2 set cards.
Player A tags out both GBs and summons GB Gyzarus, and targets the 2 set cards of Player B.
Can traps stun be chained to Gyzarus eff so it negates skill drain and the cards can be destroyed?
5-Necrovalley is active, will it prevent cards like Debunk from activating?
6-Reborn Tengu eff doesn't work when removed from the field face-down,while Sangan does, difference?
7-If there are 2 active Bad Reaction of Simochi(or 2 face-up Reficule, or 1 of each) will an effect like Gift Card cause double damage? I guess no.

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
- Because skill drain =/= veiler. Read the card, effect veiler will negates until end phase

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
1. Read the paragraph about the difference between veiler and drain here (it's the same with everything that activates on the field but is outside of the field at resolution, doesn't matter if it's the grave, banished or deck)
2. It can return itself to the extra deck, but wont summon other GBs
3. no... there's no reason why it wouldn't work, all conditions for Barriers activation are met.
4. yes, that is possible

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
2. you can activate gyzarus effect to tag by returning him to extra deck as a cost. whether the effect resolved or not, is depends on darius and gyzarus state at that time. you might want to check darius individual card ruling.

For number 4, how can you Contact Fusion GB Gyzarus when your opponent has Fossil Dyna on the field?

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
Skill Drain is negating Fossil Dyna continuous effect. However Skill Drain does not prevent an effect from activating so when you summon Gyzarus you can target 2 cards for destruction however during the resolution it would be negated by Skill Drain, if you however Chain Trap Stun to Gyzarus than during Resolution Skill Drain effect is negated and Gyzarus will resolve without problems being able to destroy the previously targeted 2 cards.

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
5) Debunk Could negate monster effects activations which activate in the hand in this case (Veiler, Maxx "C", Honest etc ), but not those which activate in the graveyard (Plague, Glow-up etc)
6) Monsters with a trigger effect being triggered when the monster "Leaves the field" have been ruled to not activate if the monster leaves the field face down (Read the latest rulebook). Sangan has no such trigger effect.

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
5.If you cannot remove monsters in the Graveyard from play because of Necrovalley, you cannot activate Debunk when a monster’s effect activates in the Graveyard.( from wikia )
6.Like the above person said

5.Yes, Debunk will not work
6.Sangan's effect specifies the graveyard, so when it is sent there, you know it's sangan. Tengu could be sent face down to the hand and you wouldn't know for sure it was tengu.(note that if Tengu is attacked while face down, it still gets its effect since it is flipped face-up before being destroyed)

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
Instead of Debunk, what about Warning negating stardust eff to summon it self in EP, will Necrovalley prevent that too?
BTW, another question up.

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
7. Nurse Reficule and Simochi change the gain into damage they don't inflict damage themselves so you only take once the damage even with 3 Nurse Reficule and Simochis.
What they forgot to say though is if the cost makes it that is isn't in the grave or banished it (like Golden Ladybug), you will be able to chain Debunk.
Debunk removes therefor won't work under Necrovalley, Warning doesn't remove and works under Necrovalley.Abdo_Tarek wrote:Instead of Debunk, what about Warning negating stardust eff to summon it self in EP, will Necrovalley prevent that too?

Re: Multiple Ruling questions
Warning can still negate Stardust summoning from grave because it is negating the effect of Stardust and not affecting Stardust itself. Notice also the Debunk ruling says that the reason Debunk doesn't work is because it is unable to banish, not because it can't negate the effect. Cards and card effects are two separate things.

I request this thread not to be locked, because I'll be asking questions frequently.
