New Archetype: Lightray

The Lightray are Light purified versions of existing monsters. So far they have purified Phoenix Gearfried, Chaos Sorcerer, Levia-Dragon - Daedalus and Diabolos King of the Abyss.

I hope for Lightray Mazera DeVille to duke it out with Darklord Zerato. Lightray SUmmoned Skull or any Lightray Archfiend would be awesome too.

Also a Dark Simorgh-esque Lightray that requires you to banish a Light and Wind/Water/Fire/Earth monster would be cool. Light and Wind would be great for my Arcanite deck but Light and Fire would look so badass and would do well in Lightsworn/Laval hybrids. A shame they didn't make Lightray Daedalus that.

What monsters would you want to see Lightray'd?

Light Grepher would be cool... but they should probably just stick with cards that don't have alternate versions already. Actually I'd like to see a card story with Zure, Knight of Darkworld...

Sounds very cool though, I hope they'll be wayy more playable then Verz decks!

Now this I'd love to see. A Light Dark Magician or even a Light Red-Eyes, unless you consider Blue-Eyes to be his counter part.

Light DAD, Simorgh, DW's, TGU, Sangan are all Dark's I'd love to see as lights.

Some monsters come to mind, though these are just personal picks from moi. Like Armageddon Knight or even a Light version of Dark Necrofear. Imagine banishing 3 Fairies to summon it. Could be great in an Agent Deck xD

Light counterparts of existing monsters when Verz are already a counterpart of DT monsters, there aren't a lot of counterparts already? and light, why light? Well, at least it sounds a little bit interesting but probably they'll support XYZ, everything new support XYZ...Just...expecting good cards, let's see what dragons Konami make, cause they obviously will make dragons, and if they make a good machine to work with

Oh oh, maybe one of it would be a LIGHT version of Allure Queen or Ultimate Insect or Dark Lucius, since DAD is based on Armed Dragons, which is a LVL monster.

Maybe a LIGHT Vampire Genesis or LIGHT Daedalus/Neo-Daedalus too. Logical since Simorgh was an SD poster boy before going to the dark side.

Or Konami can always break the trend and make a LIGHT Zenmaighty/Dolkka.

Summoning condition would probably follows Lightpulsar discarding from hand instead of RFP. Or removing/sending from deck, but that'll be too broken.

Since 2 of the old LV monsters got dark counterparts, I could see atleast 2 others getting light versions too.
Ultimate Insect and Lucious would be good choices though I could see potential in an updated Mystic Swordsman.

Also, I think it would be hilarious if we got a Light version of Tour guide that searches light based level 3's. Tour Guide to Valhalla perhaps? give light/dark decks even more power.

A card that summons out Venus on first turn to the field? That would be scary to see. Sounds overpowered if you ask me.
