Inzektor Dragonfly vs Machina Fortress

So how would this work...

My opponent has a Machina Fortress in play, and I Disarm Hornet from Dragonfly to destroy Fortress. How would the chaining of the effects resolve?
Fortress is being Targeted for an effect while Dragonfly is S Summoning another Inzect...
Which effects would go off first.

hornet effect while being an equip is not a monster effect, instead it is an equip spell effect.
machina fortress won't do anything.

Right, Machina doesn't activate if it's targeted by Hornet.

Correction: Machina Fortress doesn't activate in the first place
It's a continuous effect
