Machina Fortress.

I recently had a duel in where I special summoned fortress twice, and an admin told me I was not able to. I went back, looked at the rules and this is what I found.

"You can discard from your hand "Machina Fortress" and other Machine-Type monsters to Special Summon that "Machina Fortress" from your Graveyard. You can do this even if there is no other "Machina Fortress" in your Graveyard." -http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Machina_Fortress

I want to know if anyone knows the validity of this. Please let me know.

"special summoned fortress twice"? What's you mean?

I run 3 machina fortress in my deck along with gearframe and other machina monsters. i had fortress, gearframe, proto cyber, cyberen, and solider in my hand. I drew anothere proto, so i normal summoned gearfame used its effect to get another fortress. I then use each of the fortresses effect to get them on the field. i want to know if it is legal to successfully summon them both

If you discard 2 Fortress, you can only Special Summon 1 of them, not both at the same time!

Fortress is 7 stars and you need 8 or more to SS him. If you only discarded the two Fortresses at the same time then you could only summon one of them.

ok, so what i did was legal. I discarded fortress and proto cyber dragon first, then fortress and cyberen next. ty.

i think what happened in your duel is the mod thought you were trying to summon 2 fortress by discarding both and nothing more

he got confused about what you were trying to do im sure he knew that ruling
