Tour guide from the underworld+Versago the destroyer

I was wondering if i could use the effect of tour guide to call versago the destroyer and xyz summon then detach versago then use miracle fusion and use versago's eff while it is in the grave (I mean when versago is detached does he regain it's eff?)

yes, you can use versago effect as a substitute of a specific named fusion material once it leaves the field.

I not sure, but i think Tour Guide only negate the effect while the card is on the field.

That is correct. That's why Sangan still enables to search when sent to grave (unless used in an XYZ summon).

Phoenix Wright is right (nice wordplay ?), Versago has a condition effect that's not negated by Tour Guide/Skill Drain.

Minor change that makes a large difference. Say you somehow get Lonefire Blossom with TGU. Its effect would still be negated as it activates on the field.

That means i can use it to summon rainbow neos if i had poly and neos in my hand and i summoned it by tour's eff?

You can't use fusion substitute monsters to summon Rainbow Neos.

You can only substitute for Rainbow Neos if it's substituting for "Elemental Hero Neos" and not either Rainbow Dragon or Rainbow Dark Dragon

I thought you can't use Versago as a substitute for E-Hero Neos since Rainbow Neos need the exact material and no substitute.

Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material Monsters and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.

pretty sure that text is because of the name discrepancy between rainbow dragons in the tcg and the ocg, in the ocg its listed as a non specific card, its 1 "whatever its called" monster and ehero neos, not one of rainbow or rainbow darkness

You can't.

You can use Prisma but must send E-Hero Neos to the grave and fusing using one of the Rainbow Dragons.

The way Key said it mean that you can use a substitute for Neos even though you can't.

Prisma isn't a substitute because it literally changes its name, in a sense.
