Forbidden Lance vs Inferno Reckless summon

I managed to special summon a Batteryman AA on the field while my opponent had a monster face-up. I activated Inferno Reckless Summon to get two more, but my opponent chained Forbidden Lance targeting my Batteryman, claiming it wouldn't be affected by my Reckless and I couldn't summon the other two. I couldn't find out if it was legit after searching on the web. Does Forbidden Lance really prevent it?

IRS isn't affecting either monster, it only checks the monster name of monster upon resolution.

Indeed, IRS doesn't have anything to do with the particular monster, it's merely resolving its own effect.
