Personally, I'd hate to see this whole thing get out of hand. Players are already pointing fingers at other games while evidence is in short supply.
That's not what we should be doing.
Especially when it very easily could have been one person and one phone call that brought this game down.

No, I am not a Konami staff member, otherwise DN would of been down earlier. "The Exodia Procedure" was named by me and my friends since we usually played on other duel simulators online, and when Konami shut them down, we said that they used "The Exodia Procedure" and, in reference to Exodia, "Obliterate" the site, and that is why it can't be found on Google. However, I have my doubts that Konami will initiate it on DN.

There are other reason for this to happen then to just blame Corp and make reasons for them to really drop the ball on things... btw its not Dooms Day Everyone!

I don't see why you would doubt it. They've already started by cutting off the server. I would presume that if Konami went after the game they would remove it. Ancillary items like these forums wouldn't be targeted.

Wouldn't it be crafty for someone from a different simulator pretend to be someone from Konami and start all the copyright dispute, knowing that BLS would try to contact Konami to try to fix the situation. And if Konami hadn't known about DN before, then they would have. Not saying that is what happened. But that would be very cunning.

They don't buy packs from card shops, they buy singles because the odds of getting anything valuable out of packs are so slim. You think they make 100s of dollars on Duality? No. They make the 4.00+ off the DREV pack that it most likely ISNT in. And we all know that we're better off spending the money buying the single than on the product in hopes of getting lucky.

Exactly. Konami no longer makes any money on sets after their release. They know it, and that's why they don't continue printing the packs.

For those of you saying "Oh this will never come back" or "We need to do something to get it back" or anything else like that, I suggest you pack your bags and leave, because you aren't helping anyone.

I am personal friends with Neonian, who is the second admin to be put on DN, and he is keeping me updated on the situation.

Black Luster Soldier is doing the best he can to fix this scenario. In the meantime, please be patient and hope that he can get it back up as soon as he can. It looks like it will be back up by the end of the day.

Please do not post if you aren't going to say anything helpful. Dueling Network will be back, as it was not Konami that filed the DMCA. All that remains to be done is to confirm this information with Konami.

Don't try to figure out who it was, as that's just impossible. It could be anyone. Stop trying, it isn't helping.

Be optimistic, and DN will be back soon. In the meantime, I'm sure you have some other form of entertainment. I bet you have other games to play, movies to watch, books to read, etc. Go have fun. DN will be waiting for you when it gets back.
