This is a quick drawing of Kuya I did, and as you can see he is the guy who is my avatar.

Opening Theme!

EPISODE 2 : BURST HEART AWAKEN.
" Now my Quicksilver allows me to draw a card" the man said with a certain satisfaction about him
" Agni-Wing's effect put's him in defense position now, so I'll set two cards face down and end my turn," Kuya said as he passed the turn to his opponent.

" Draw!, I'll summon Wolf Cub in attack position."

" Now I'll release Wolf Cub to summon White Lynx from my deck"
The tile floor started to crackle and freeze under the man. Kuya was afraid, he wanted to run, but he couldn't let them hurt his friend nick. He would never forgive himself for running away. He would duel... and win.

The gargantuan ivory feline came out from the floor, Kuya was amazed at the destruction, as he was not wearing a D - Gazer. It was just sinking in, he had already realized it, but he was just starting to accept it...- " those monsters were... real." -
Kuya stood his ground and looked at his hand.

Spoiler:

Kuya's opponent slapped a card on his disk, then declared, thrusting his arm into the air, " White Lynx, Attack!"
The Colorless beast attacked The Agni-wing, activating Lynx's effect ; thrusting Cobalt into attack position.
Kuya was confused " Why would you do that, now I've got a fighting chance ... unless "
- Kuya remembered the card the man played just before attacking -
" Cold Snap's effect activates, I'll banish Wolf Cub to make your Cobalt have 0 ATK and DEF. "

- " well good thing I've got this in store for him " - Kuya thought to himself.
" Go Lynx, destroy his Agni-Wing ! " The monster leaped into the air and try to strike down the monster when suddenly, in mid air it's attack was stopped.

Kuya's eyes started to glow, he felt a power surging through him, encompassing his body and making him feel... alive... as if he was never before this moment. " I discard Nest Magnet to Activate it's effect! " Kuyas arms was glowing now, he placed the monster in the graveyard, then both Agni-Wing and the Lynx turned into spheres of spiraling light. The sphere that was formerly the Lynx shot back to Kuya's opponent and hit him in the chest. He hit the wall and his mouth started Gaping. His younger brother used to his side to help him up " Tony are you alright? "
Kuya grabbed the card off his disk and put it back in his Extra deck.
Tony stood up from the ground , " You're...like us"
" I don't know who you are or what just happened " Kuya protested, feeling himself consumed by power " BUT I DON'T HURT PEOPLE NEEDLESSLY ! I'M N-NOTHING LIKE YOU!" Crimson trails of energy spiraled away from Kuya's feet. Kuya felt every fiber of his body screaming - " DUEL. WIN. DESTROY " -
" My turn, Draw! "

Kuya shouted as he pulled a card form his deck, translucent flames trailed off the card as he drew it.
Kuya stared into the card he drew. He saw it coming together... he had... to keep burst summoning... it wasn't just instinct, not just the way to win, but he... hungered. Hungered for more power. He shouted as he summoned his monster that he just drew. " RAAAAAAAAAAAAA , Come forth! Sky Tinker ! "

Tony looked scared out of his mind. A part of Kuya wanted to stop, but the primal hunger held him tight, he had to... DUEL. WIN. DESTROY.
" I activate Sky Tinker's effect, sending Thunderfist Monk to the graveyard, along with Victorious Thermal from my deck "
Kuya said, with a voice different from before, a voice filled with rage and hunger.

" NOW, BURST ! "
Kuya's eyes were aflame, his body was glowing crimson, he looked like he was a solid human figure of lava.
Two large speres of light traveled down a double helix from the ceiling , and started to orbit around Kuya until the formed a ring around him of light. He reached out and commanded " BURST SUMMON, SCARLET RISEWING ! "
The ring closed around him. A ring of the same size came out from the ground and ascended into the ceiling, under it leaving the Huge, Scarlet phoenix in it's wake. It screeched and flames leaped from it's wings.
He attacked his opponent directly, lighting the carpet on fire. Kuya was too consumed by rage to care.
3500 -> 1000
Kuya slashed his Risewing's ATK and had him attack once more. " FINISH THE JOB ! SCARLET STARSTREAM ! "
1000 - > 0
Tony was almost completely consumed by fire.
Scarlet Risewing faded away. The fire did not.
Kuya couldn't breathe.

No, Nick was Kuya's friend ( the one tied up), the Ice brothers still don't even have confirmed names yet, so I'm just kinda working around that by not revealing it yet lol. and the only thing my friend has to do with Nick is his cards, I'm doing most of the designs. Except Raven. I'm making her cards whilst my girlfriend designed her outfit/hairstlye.

That is what I find respectable about your card designs. They are not too broken, overly complicated, or too nerfed. They seem just right.

Once again, I have came to see a good fanfic, and I can say I am very satisfied. I also like how you treat Kuya's psychic powers as well; an untamed force that if not left in check, it would be able to destroy things even he doesn't want destroyed, and I kind of like aspects like that on main characters. Ongoing battles with the self throughout a story = awesome.

Can't wait for episode three. Also, you'll probably want to keep all this stuff in one topic for ease of access.
