War Formats & Matches Rules
- During a match, the loser of a duel chooses who goes first in the next duel.
- Both Teams begin with the same amount of players and subs in their rosters.
- 1 vs 1:
- .: 1 vs 1 :.
- Minimum 5 players from each side. No subs allowed.
- The players in each roster will only duel a defined player of the opposing roster.
- The pairings must be included in the war registration form.
- It is recommended that the number of members on a roster be an odd number in order to avoid a tie.
- Even numbered rosters are still acceptable. In the event of a tie, both Teams will select a player from their roster to duel in a final tie-breaker match.
- The Team that accumulates the most wins will be declared the winner of the war.
- Minimum 5 players from each side. No subs allowed.
- Endurance:
- .: Endurance :.
- Minimum 5 players and 1 sub from each side.
- The players in the war rosters will have an order of participation.
- The first match will begin with the two players elected to go first in their Team's roster.
- The winner of that match will go on to face the next player in the opposing Team's roster
- This continues until a Team is out of players and loses the war.
Default settings:- Subs can only be used once.
- No Deck changing after a won match.
* This creates a strategic advantage for the opposing team when they find themselves losing, as they can tell their next player what they will be facing.
- Minimum 5 players and 1 sub from each side.
- Crossfire:
- .: Crossfire :.
- Minimum 5 players and 1 sub from each side.
- When a player loses, he/she is eliminated from the war.
- The first Team to reach 0 remaining players loses the war.
- Players can challenge any member of the opposing Team's roster.
Default settings:- Subs can be used unlimited times.
- No Deck changing after a won match.
* This creates a strategic advantage for the opposing team when they find themselves losing, as they can tell their next player what they will be facing.
- Minimum 5 players and 1 sub from each side.
- Heart Points:
- .: Heart Points :.
- Minimum 5 players from each side. Subs are not needed.
- The amount of hearts must be greater than or equal than the amount of players.
- Both Teams begin with the same amount of hearts, agreed by the Captains.
- When a player loses, their Team loses a heart.
- The first Team to reach 0 hearts loses the war.
- Players can challenge any member of the opposing Team's roster.
Default settings:- No Deck changing after a won match.
* This creates a strategic advantage for the opposing team when they find themselves losing, as they can tell their next player what they will be facing.
- Minimum 5 players from each side. Subs are not needed.
During a war
- After a match, one player must post the result and the other one must confirm it. (Just in case, be sure to take screenshots when the duel ends.)
- If you or your opponent has to go between the duels of a match that is already in progress, neither player may challenge anyone else until the match is completed.
- After the war starts, the rosters cannot be edited without a mutual agreement.
Activity
- At least one match needs to be played every 5 days for your war to be considered "active".
- If a Team is stalling, call a Judge to look over the war and ensure that those situations don't affect the war result.
- A deadline can and will be extended only if both Teams are still active enough to finish the war in a short time.
- If during a war the Official Konami Banlist is changed, the war will continue using the Banlist it started with. (A Judge will define any necessary proxies.)
Disputes
- If you have a dispute with a player you are warring, you should always attempt to resolve it with the other player first:
- If it is a ruling dispute, look up the ruling and show your opponent what you find.
- If it is a gameplay dispute, remain calm and try to explain the situation to your opponent.
Disconnections
- If someone leaves a duel on purpose, he'll get a game loss (this is not the same as an involuntary disconnection).
- During a duel, if there is a lag or disconnection problem, both players must take screenshots to show what their cards are (including graves/RFG). Based on the screenshots, a decision will be made according to the following guidelines:
- If a player was about to lose or was in a lockdown or had a considerable disadvantage, his opponent wins.
- If the duel was even, it will be a reduel.
- If a player had some minor disadvantage but wouldn't lose yet, a special reduel might be made.
- A special reduel consists on a reduel with a fixed starting LP and/or card count for both players. The idea is to emulate the situation in which the previous duel was.
