ITT we will talk about the video game series Kingdom Hearts. I am a big fan of Square-enix and enjoy many of their games (FF series, Chrono Trigger, KH). Kingdom Hearts is no exception. Despite my dislike of anything disney, I enjoy these games. Mostly because I like the combat system and original characters (as well as the FF cameos). My favourite one so far is Birth By Sleep. The characters are awesome and its gameplay is very fun. I really like the Command Melding system it has as well as the ability system (reminiscent of FF9's ability system).

As of now my favourite character is either Terra or Aqua. Ven coming in at a close third.

Played Kingdom Hearts 2 on the PS2, can't say I enjoyed the gameplay too much but I like the twist on the Disney storys, the Lion King level was my favorite.

BBS IMO has way better gameplay than KH2. I did not enjoy KH1's gameplay too much though.

Kingdom Hearts is probably one of those games where you read the idea on a sheet of paper and ask yourself what the developers were smoking at that time. However, once you lay your hands on the actual game, you'll notice that those are some well-crafted games. The gameplay is mostly enjoyable (At least from the ones I've played, being only 1, 2 and BBS), the characters are likeable, the story... is horrendously confusing, but interesting enough to keep you going.

Yes, I'm a Kingdom Hearts liker. It's certainly a game that always gets split reviews, more than others, just because of the insane premise and the confusing storyline. And, I admit, I can't follow it anymore. After playing BBS (which was supposed to answer a lot of open questions), I was left with more fresh questions than actual answers. Nothing is said clearly into your face, which is nice if you can make your own clues, but I just couldn't. After that, I completely lost track, and I can't even begin to figure out where 385/2 Days or Re:Coded fit in there (I actually watched (not played) Chain of Memories, so I know what's going on there).

Still, as already mentioned, good games.

Kingdom Hearts was great. Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories was ambitious. Kingdom Hearts Two was amazing. Kingdom Hearts 365/2 days was fine. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep was funderful. Kingdom Hearts Coded was a cash cow. Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Dive looks fun, but we already know that Xehanort will not die in that one, so it is kind of irrelevant. Kingdom Hearts Three will be Xehanort's end, and I doubt Square Enix will let us down.

Kingdom Hearts is awesome. I really felt great when I beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II.

It really got into Roxas's time in the organization.
BBS was fun to but my PSP died before I could finish it

KH 1 will always be the best game in the series for me. Played it when I was still quite a little kid, so I had absolutely NO idea how to improv against broken foes like Seph, haha!

I played KH 2 for a bit, but only until the first part of Olympus (the escape with Auron). My damn PS2 just died on me shortly after...

The only other spinoff I played was BbS, and I liked it a lot: the characters, gameplay diversity in the trio's fighting styles, etc... 'Fact, it made me absolutely fixated on hoping that KH 3 would not be all Sora, and also have separate story modes for Riku (and Kairi, please please PLEASE. She may not be as smexy and as hot as Aqua, but she IS her successor and frankly, I couldn't get enough of Aqua's playstyle in BbS, so I'm hoping it would make a comeback through good ol' Kai).

As for Dream Drop Dive... it'll probably be the only reason for me to buy a 3DS.

P.S. Oh, and before I forget...

Neither can I, but what bothers me is that they already announced Kingdom Hearts III as the end of the Xehanort saga. I realize this is probably to placate angered fans and all, but still that is akin to informing us that no matter what we do in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Dive, we cannot win. Also, how dare you misspell Xenahort's name?

Thats your opinion. IMO BBS is one of the best games I have ever played. I actually cared about what happened to the characters. Some games I could care less about the characters. BBS did a good job of making you care, while also bringing some awesome gameplay! I just wish there were more worlds to visit though, that was my problem with the game. Each story was too short. The only reason my playtime was so high was due to Arena playing, and training for the arena (while gaining all abilities). Great game though non-the-less.

Yep, Terra is my favourite male character and Aqua is my favourite female character. BBS was just that awesome. I never really cared for Sora, but I still think he is a pretty cool character. I still prefer the games where he is the main character though. BBS was just a awesome console style non-numbered KH game.

I hear ya ... But imo, Ven's style > Terra's in terms of dealing hurt, although I prefer Terra's for the ease of use. Shame he couldn't use the tricks he has as the Lingering Sentiment in the fight against Xehanort though (except for Ultima Cannon), although I'd have to say that was the most epic of the BbS final boss matches (trumping even Ven vs. Vanitas, Aqua vs. [Ven]itas, and Aqua vs. Xehanort).

Terra vs Terranort was freaken hard. I destroyed all other bosses. Terranort was just too fast. I had to chip away at his health very slowly with Blocking/Reversals and then spamming Curaga.

I did prefer using ven (due to his balanced stats), Terra was awesome when you just felt like plowing those unversed quickly (due to his insane strangth), and Aqua was fun to use Mega Flare with because her high magic stat just made it destroy every non-boss unversed (except the ones with high resistance to magic). I prefer just using the Keyblade and Mega Flare, and vens balanced stats give you the best opportunity for that. In terms of dashing, I hated vens roll and Terra's dash. Aqua's cartwheel was amazing for dodging stuff. Terra's story was the most fun to play though, then Vens, then Aqua's (not including final chapter or Final Mix stuff).

I guess it is obvious I am a KH fan.

My favorite one out of the franchise has to be a tie between BBS and Kingdom Hearts 2. The only one I haven't played so far is that ReCoded. After what I heard about it I probably will never play it.

My favorite character has to be Riku. I like how he had changed from how he was from the first game. He is what I considered a true friend.

Sephiroth was difficult primarily for those facing him for the first time.

After playing for a while, I'd say Terra's Lingering Sentiment in KH2:FM as well as Vanitas's Sentiment and the Mysterious Figure in BBS are superior in difficulty (cheapness aside). (Haven't gotten a good look at Armor of the Master and No Heart in BBS:FM. I've seen a couple of vids but I'm not too familiar with their respective difficulties, because it's been a while since I've watched them.)

On a random note, I once got so bored with KH2 (at the time), that I used a couple difficulty codes to make the fights a lot more challenging. Heck, I even randomly decided to challenge Xemnas and Sephiroth at the same time. Fun stuff.

the only way i liked fighting sephiroth was in final mode, *wich made the battle even* and i had cloud as my team member wich didn't really help so i took him off and 1v1 Sephiroth in final mode

*note i was using codebreaker so i could fight sephiroth in final mode*

The sequel is the best. Period.

Blame FF13 FNC. Square just seems to love FF13 and likes to spend all of their time that series of games. Expect to be getting more KH side games. I can't wait to hear what all of the characters had for breakfast on day 23 in Days.
