Bottomless Traphole or Effect V after Warning is Negated

After the Warning, seven tools thing goes through. Stratos will be successfully summoned, therefore you will be able to chain effect veiler or bth to the Summon of Stratos or any other monster. Remember that warning is When your opponent or you, are attempting to summon a monster. So it never hits the field, Then Bottomless can be activated because The attempting to summon has passed and the summon of a monster is now being recognized. chain to his effect or his summon, whichever you prefer.

I dunno.... since its not possible to chaining counter traps with normal trap

I know its similiar situastion like Samurai case

Player A attack with Shi en
Player B respond attack with M.force
Player A chain with 7 Tools / S.Judgement / Counter Counter / Magatama
and I KNOW player B can flip D. prison at this moment... because it still attacking

But I am not sure about summon... because its ALREADY summoned, and responded...

Kang, the monster has not yet hit the field. Since The player is trying to warning it, When the monster hits the fieldit can be bottomlessed

Its already on field by the time warning negated,
meanwhile bottomless can only active when monster being summoned, not after it.
and a normal traps cann't be chained to counter traps

If you trying active it on separate links, its alrady too late

The monster isn't considered to be on the field when it is negated by Warning, and Bottomless and Warning won't create a chain, they are seperate chain at different timing.
And kang, your example about Shi En is way wrong, if Player A chain with Shi En, then Player B can activate cards like D. Prison, but here Player A chain with Counter Trap, so D. Prison cannot be activated here.

No, cards that negate a summon and cards that respond to a summon are activated at different times.


In your 1st example:

Player A attempts to summon Elemental HERO Stratos (it is not on the field yet, it's still on its way to it).
Player B responds using Solemn Warning. (Chain link 1)
Player A chains 7 Tools of the Bandit, Solemn Judgement, etc. (Chain link 2)

Resolve the chain backwards:

- Solemn Warning is negated.
- Elemental HERO Stratos' summon is successful.


Now, after that, player A can respond to Stratos' successful summon:

Player A successfully summoned Elemental HERO Stratos.
Player B responds to the summon with Bottomless Trap Hole.
Player A doesn't respond.

Resolving that simple chain, Stratos will be destroyed and removed from play.


Notice that you're not chaining a Normal Trap to a Counter Trap. Instead, it's 2 different chains.

This is also wrong. In that case you cannot activate Dimensional Prison because the timing to activate it has passed, as only 1 chain can be built in direct response to the attack declaration. What you can do is activating a card that doesn't have specific activation timing conditions like Book of Moon, before proceeding to the Damage Step.
