a simple cuestion about starlight road

my oponent have 4 cards face down on his backrow i have heavy storm and typhoon in my hand,i activate heavy and my opponent respond with starlight road it is true that if i chain my typhoon and target my heavy storm starlight road effect cant be aplied since typhoon destroyed my heavy storm first?

Heavy Storm will be negated, but not Destroyed by Starlight Road, so Stardust will not be Special Summoned.

I hate to grave dig, but rather then post a new topic, I figured I would add my question since it is relevant. If they MST the starlight, do I get the special? A judge told me I do not, but starlight can still negate and destroy heavy storm, so why can stardust not be summoned?

Starlight Road has to destroy the card its negating to be able to SS Stardust.

I'm just stating that Stardust is forced to summon mid chain, when Road resolves.

but wouldn't starlight still destroy the heavy storm, as its still on the field? Is the reason stardust is not summoned because it is mid chain?

MST would destroy the Heavy before Road could destroy it, meaning that Road cannot destroy it, meaning that Stardust cannot be summoned, but Heavy is still negated.

I said mst is targeting starlight road.

I would think Stardust will be summoned if he MST your starlight because I believe you can't miss the timing.

if it was starlight that got MST'ed then starlight would still resolves as normal, negating and destroying heavy then summoning stardust.

if it was heavy that got MST'ed then starlight would still negate heavy. however as heavy already destroyed by MST before, stardust won't be summoned.
