before entering Battle Phase

If i declare that I'm entering my Battle Phase and the opponent activates Effect Veiler, can i still continue my Main Phase or do i need to proceed with my Battle Phase? In TF5 game i immediately enter BP after veiler resolves, not sure irl...

please provide a source/reference with your answer thx

a phase does not end until both players agree to do so

if you want to end you main phase and your opponent says "no I want to do something" then the game state returns from "end of main phase" to "in the main phase" and both have to declare "end the phase" again.

btw, no video game had that until WC11. That is the first that included the situation and asks the player if he wants to continue main phase if the opponent does something at the end of that phase.

hmm that would do, im probably just missing some settings on TF5, kthx '')/

Because of Veiler and Formula, this problem comes up. But dest is right.
