Stardust dragon

I have a stardust dragon equipped to a cyberdark Dragon, do I have the option to uses stardusts negate effect?

I ask because I know Light and Darkness dragons effect of destroying all of my cards still activates when its destroyed as a equip on a Cyberdark Dragon.

Well no, you dont, LaDD effect activates because it doesn´t matter how is destroyed as long as it is send to graveyard, but stardust needs to tribute itself meaning it needs to activate its effect wich he can´t do being a equip spell card. Also, notice how LaDD other effects aren´t applied while equiped.

Stardust's negate effect can't be used when its treated as an equip spell for the reasons Thanax stated; it can't tribute itself while being an equip, and that being the cost for Stardust's effect, it can't use its effect at all.
