Crystal Beast Effects

If you use crystal beast sapphire pegasus to bring a crystal beast ruby carbuncle to your s/t area, does crystal beast ruby carbuncle's effect go off? I'm leaning towards no, but I saw someone post online that it would and so I decided it couldn't hurt to ask.

No, of course. Place CB into S/T Zone is not SS it.
