Doomcaliber Knight ruling

In a duel I had Malefic Cyber End Dragon out but I summoned a Doomcaliber Knight. Cyber ED has the constant effect of not allowing my other monsters to attack. Therefore is my Cyber ED destroyed by Doomcaliber Knight's effect? It seems to make obvious sense but just want to make sure.

But I think he can negate the effect that banishing the monster,
Not sure about this...

So monster still banished, but your malefic on grave.

Doomcaliber knight can do nothing to Malefic Monsters (except Paradox and Truth). All effects of Malefic Monsters (again except Paradox and Truth) are effects that doesn't start a chain, that's why Doomcaliber Knight cannot negate.

That's not an effect, it's a summoning procedure.

And what Tcbskater said too, that is summoning procedure (for easy understanding is Special Summon that pay cost and doesn't start a chain), so Doomcaliber Knight cannot negate that too.
