Can you chain Maxx C to a special summon? This might be in the wrong topic.. but can you answer?

Summons do not start chains. You cannot chain Maxx c to a summon. You can however respond to the summon with Maxx c, but you will not draw for that special summon. This is why you chain it to cards like Monster Reborn of Tour Guide. They start chains unlike summons. Using Maxx c on a Cyber Dragon summon will not result in a card being drawn since it happened after the summon.

Pros chain to effects.
They don't chain to summons because that's against game mechanics.
