-When I want to summon birdman with his effect, can I target a synchro/fusion/xyz monster and return it to the extra deck?

-Also, can I summon it using cards like a Plaguespreader Zombie or Battle Fader summoned by thier effects

Thus, you cannot activate the effect of "Genex Ally Birdman" by returning such a monster to the hand. Also, if "Degenerate Circuit" is active, then you cannot return cards to the hand, so you cannot activate the effect of a card like "Genex Ally Birdman" or "Mist Valley Shaman"

In the same logic, since Xyz/Synchros/Fusion monsters cannot return to the hand, you cannot use them as the cost to Special Summon Genex Ally Birdman
