Okay so my friends got into an argument over summoning two malefic monsters with skill drain on the field before which was resolved after I told them it wasn't possible. This got me thinking, if skill drain is active, is it possible to have 2 face-up malefic monsters on your side of the field by flipping one face down with book of moon, summoning the second one, and then flipping the other face-up with desert sunlight?

Yes, you can do that, so long as skill drain remains on the field.

yes, you can, I had tested on yugioh 2011 over the nexus and 2 malefic can face up and attack

even without BoM you can have two on field... it's called Paradox Dragon and Parallel Gears. 
And, yes, it's possible. Someone in the deck construction section had a deck based on keeping more than 1 Malefic on field using Hero Mask, as well.
