Wind-Up Shark Magician combo

Does the special summon of wind up shark activate wind-up magician's effect? It might be a dumb one but i wanna know :/

Trigger,Ignition.
Wind up shark's effect to summon itself from the hand activates(evidently by the colon,but wikia helps) and wind up magician doesnt care where an effect is activated to summon a monster,so would summon on shark's summon effect activation.

Yes, it can activate in the Damage Step.
