New Card Rulings

According to the text of the new trap hole from the new Dawn Of the XYZ Deck, it targets a monster, and therefore cannot destroy cards like tyrant dragon. What I'm wondering, is if makes cards like bottomless trap hole, Dimensional Prison, and even mirror force target cards. If So, it will make cards like Dark Illusion, and anything like that so much more useful. Hoipefully cards like smashing ground and fissure wont be changed too. Do some research on the new trap hole reading, and make your own decision.

Mirror Force does not Target, unless they want to say it targets all attack position monsters.

The new card texts should help you to determine which cards target and which doesn't. Trap Hole's text was just fixed to comply with the new card wording, but besides that nothing else is different. It still targets the summoned monster. Same goes for Dimensional Prison.

I like the way they write cards now. It's very helpful.

Cards that don't anounce a specific card on the field do not target. Mirror force says all monsters on your opponents side in Atk mode, therefore it does not designate a single target for the effect. Even if there is one monster in atk mode it doesn't target it.

I really hope it didn't change, I like that Mirror Force doesn't target, otherwise I coudn't wipe out shining dragons : O

The English Lore for Deep Dark Trap Hole is not official yet. And the old Trap Hole's text is fixed to clearly state that Trap Hole targets.

Dimension targets.

Dimensional Prison "does" Target the attacking monster.

You people seemed to have failed to notice that he is talking about TRAP HOLE that is getting reprinted in Dawn of XYZ not Deep Dark Trap Hole from PHSW. That card afaik always targeted and always will
