Does SKILL DRAIN working on XYZ ?

I don't see why Skill Drain wouldn't work on Xyz. It isn't affected by level anyway.

The other one is a good question. Imo, detaching is mostly a cost, EXCEPT for Tiras, where it's detaching is an effect.

In most cases Detachment is a cost but exceptions might happen....

The same Xyz rules aplied to the side events.
And the side events you could use Reborn Tengu.
So yes these rules have been aplied to Tengu at the worlds.

of course you can detach. That is a cost with all of them. Skill drain doesn't prevent monster effect activations, it only negates effects.

1 or 2 D.D. Survivor on field, with macro cosmo / d.fissure active
Then XYZ with any lv 4 or itself

What happen (to D.D. survivor) at end phase ?

when they are detached with d-fissure they are detached to the grave (they are not threated as monsters)
when they are detached with macro they come back during the end phase.

I'm sure they won't come back.
As for the reason I'm less sure. I think cards under an Xyz are on the field but are not concidered face up on the field. This way it won't get his effect.

And with d.fissure it won't even go removed from play cause they are not monsters when overlayed.

xyz materials are considered to be face up on the field, else tengu wouldn't get its effect.

Hmm, I gues it was something else then.
I still think it won't come back in the end face though.

Well at least now theres no cheapness with the effects of sangan and all thoe "remove" monsters

I may be late, but I heard the rulings changed again to where cards like Sangan and Tengu don't get the effect, pretty much making Tour Guide spike down in price and usefulness. Is this true?

that is true.Sangan and tengou dont get their effects when overlay.

It's definitely true. Xyz materials do not count as being on the field. As quoted from the official rule book "Monsters that have become Xyz Materials are not
treated as cards on the field. When an Xyz Monster leaves the field,
all of the Xyz Materials attached to it are sent to the Graveyard. If an
Xyz Monster is flipped face-down, or becomes controlled by the
opponent, the Xyz Materials are not sent to the Graveyard. They
remain attached to the Xyz Monster."
