About the vylons like Stella, Tetrah, Sphere, and Prisim.

If this card is sent from the Monster Card Zone to the Graveyard, you can pay 500 Life Points to equip this card to a face-up monster you control as an Equip Card.

On all four of those, my question is do their effects activate when sent to the grave? or can i use them later, because I've done that, and I've seen others do that, but i always thought it was wrong.

Ex.

Sync Trident Warrior with Vylon Stella
create Vylon Sigma
Pay 500 to equip to Sigma

Ex.2 (What i think is wrong)

Has Sigma on the field, doesnt use Stella equip effect
Two Turns pass
pay 500, equip stella to whatever

Its when it goes to the graveyard from the monster zone

The 1st example is right, the 2nd example is wrong! You cannot wait for that kind of Optional Trigger Effect.

Thanks for the confirmation, but also one more thing.

If i use

Cyber Dragon + Tetrah = Sigma
Equip sigma with a bunch of crap + Tetrah
NExt Turn

Summon Black Rose Dragon to bomb the field. would Sigma be protected by tetrah?

My question is cause ive seen Field Barrier protect the field spell when a heavy storm goes out, but when dark hole activates the Six samurai's cant protect each other.

You cannot protect Sigma with Tetrah's effect in the case of a field nuke.

The reasoning is that Tetrah says "You can destroy this card instead." Because it's being destroyed as well, you can't substitute it for destruction.

Field Barrier still protects from Heavy because it doesn't actually substitute itself, it just says "Field Spell Cards cannot be destroyed."
