ally of justice castastor

Was wondering whether its effect takes place before effects of Marshmallon, Shiba Taro, etc... that cant be destroyed by battle.

eh Marshmallow eff doesnt interfere with Catastor effect. For example.
I cant think of a monster with that effect that interferes with Catastor. Catastor eff goes through normally.
Key should be able to explain this in a more ruling-sense way >.>.

My marshmallon was face up when he summoned castastor.

Catastor's effect will destroy your Marshmallon if it was face-up when he attacked, your opponent still loses 1000 for attacking Marshmallon though.

you only take 1000 damage from marshmallon if it was attacked and was flipped face-up. the first statement is correct, Marshmallon will be destroyed by Catastor's card effect.

i was mislead because he said "before the effects of marshmallon..." since the "cant be destroyed by battle" effects are continuous and never really "activates", i assumed he was referring to the other effect, my bad.
