Dolkka

i got a Zenmaines on the field, he attacks with a dolkka, i take 1 xyz material off of zen.

End phase, using zen's destroy effect, he uses Dolkka's negate eff, then i use from the hand Herald of Orange light to negate his eff, does that mean Dolkka can negate orange light? Because Orange had already negated the effect?

orange doesn't negate anything until its resolution...
that chain is perfectly fine, he can negate your orange with dolkka and then zenmaines can prevent its destruction by detaching its second material

Also keep in mind that even if you do detach another Material from Zenmaines you can't activate it's effect to destroy another card again.
