Sure.

I can't think of anything meta-breaking about the card. Game is too fast already for Sinister Serpent to shine. Although endless fodder for Drill Warrior sounds unpleasent.

Dude, what would you do with 3 lv1 reptile-type water monster in your hand? brio's ammo? Brio doesn't survive enough. Offering to snake deity? Snake rain (dat card just suck).

No no at 3 this card is consistent enough, and with so many easy ways to dump it it could prove troublesome...

It would bring back cards like Phoenix Wing Wind Blast and Lightning Vortex for starters. Snipe Hunter might see more play. Brionic would be made a bit more powerful.

Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head.

I really think this card is banned for the sake of being banned since it's been there for a few years already.

Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Disagree about Snipe and Brionac. It's not like it gives you more discard fodder per turn and it's not unlikely that these two will be destroyed before the next turn when you can use Sinister again.

At 3, Brio would be too powerful. The ability to bounce 3 cards every turn would stop the opponent making any sort of comeback unless they top-deck Smashing Ground.

Not like any modern decks can destroy a monster or summon a 2400 atk monster in a single turn.

You're right, Yata's a fiend. My bad. Okay, so just make Bird Cage a Yata-specific counter. Mind you, nobody would run it, so they'd just re-ban Yata anyway.

Yata would never come back...at least in two years moar. Nobody knows later, maybe YGO will become a game with huge and excesive drawing and then, Yata would be back. But since Maxx C isn't enough drawing ._.

Anyway, Sinister serpent isn't a broken card anymore and it only would feed Brio one time in each turn and brio can't survive second, the only thing would be The World lockdown, but it's a lockdown that nobody will care about, so Konami can un-ban this, right?

While a lockdown is a lockdown, it's way difficult to pull off a requires quite a bit of luck or some spell card.

But it's probably what's keeping Sinister Serpent down.

Cause about 60 to 70% of all reptile cards ask for either discard or destroy one card on your side of the field to activate their effect. Aliens do this. My personal Favorite reptilianne do this get a medusa that makes one use of her effect cost nothing which then gives me 0 atk monsters out the whazoo which make vaskii really easy to get out. Theres just way too many decks that this thing could make just ridiculous. this is why it is banned

@ Zombieh.Nobody would waste consistency on sinister serpent just for scrap dragon and brionac.

Reptile decks are awful in themselves,their support cards are incredibly nonthreatening and slow,and there's absolutely no way aliens/vaskii control/reptilianes/serpentwarrior will go from tier 50 to wind up,inzektor and plant synchro level brokeness with sinister serpent,and even then a deck using sinister serpent's field presence can only do one thing per turn and would be amazingly slow.

Yea but on the world lock it works now all u need is d fissure a target and jupiter wih sanctuary on feild or u could all run this meta herald of perfection and kristia lock cause uts better but anyway this card will never come backkonami has learned from their mistakes and all u people who say then y did BLS come back thats because it was ahead of its time and really isnt that bad now and if this card comes back all it will do is clog youre hand or youre opponent dd crows it so it isnt a problem
