I don't understand why they kill decks. It doesn't make the game even...It ruins it.

I'm all for banning broken cards (CCV, DMoC etc.), but banning cards to make a deck useless is silly?

Have they never thought that, the bottom line is, this is a kids card game...How is a kid supposed to afford a new deck every 6 months, because Konami bans and destroys their deck?

Heartless, it is. And pointless. Can you imagine being a kid on a paper round, saving up for months to build a deck, only to have it's value ruined in an instant?

From what I hear Plant Synchro was OP in OCG. You know since they don't have the WTF was Konami thinking TCG exclusives we have here. Which is why they were given the old yeller treatment. For w/e reason our banlist always mirrors the OCG banlist. Which of course is based on the OCG. Which has different cards from us. So long as things continue like this OCG will always get balanced and fixed but TCG will still have things that make u go WTF is Konami doing?

What they need to do is level us up to OCG.

I think they improved it in that aspect a little when they took over from UDE on the competitive side of things, like reprinting the ridiculous cards.

Obviously, everyone who had all the expensive cards got pissed, but i think it needed to be done.

Maybe they should start surveying tournaments and looking into the game in more detail? It's no extra effort to send out a rep, or use T.O.'s to send feedback to them from each tourny, is it?

yea different games needs different lists killing agent over there is justified besause its tier 0 but killing agent here is hitting a somewhat competitive tier 2 deck not to mention TGU TBU and tengu here so soner or later konami shoud realize this and hopfully maybe wise up

konami needs to unify the game, immediately if not sooner

It's like, I remember a couple of formats ago, Monarchs were killing the Irish format if I remember rightly,wheras in the UK, monarchs were useless.

Although, I think it's all been a bit better since less people have access to netdecking websites.

The UK must have some bad players if Monarchs were useless.

kinda yea but that was when if im wrong when TELEDAD and LS were out together so do the math but yes konami need to unify games or make seperate lists IMO

DON'T 4GET THIS IS GAME THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. We can all play casually in our lives. WHO DICTATES HOW WE PLAY? WHO? Soon, Konami will learn how to treat the players better. It keeps the game fresh for once, Agents were dominant deck for 5/6 of the format they deserved a hit, Maybe T.G. Striker didn't deserve it but the fact is that Striker was one of the monsters that allowed Agents some great plays and it was pretty consistent.

Also it's a business move, Konami is doing the right thing, but however people who run TCG are the ones that are the problems, they refuse to remove priority or to try to have any influence on the Banlist, which ends in the banlist that TCG Players have hard time accepting.

I see that makes a bit more sense, Like I say, I've not played so much in the last couple of formats.

Are you kidding me? The UK has some of the best players in the world by far, trust me dude.

I am talking a good few formats ago. The last time monarchs dominated here was during the Tele-Dad format, if I remember rightly.

Also, I don't think it's right to say we have bad players if something doesn't dominate our format, It could equally mean our players are so good they overcome the top-tier decks!

airblade is better than teledad, did some proxy matches, trust me, i know lol

also monarchs were good the format before teledad

"Hit" is when you limit the deck potential to stop it of being abusive and tier 0, in this case, KONAMI just killed them.

no DAD, but dmoc at 1 rota at 2 mali at 3 monster gate and reasoning both at 3 d fusion at 3 and stratos at 3, the deck was unreal consistant, used pheonix blade to banish warriors to summon with dfusion for big hits pops and searchs, and summon dmoc to pull spells. the best deck to ever grace a format, ever

also ddraw was at 3, but its before allure came out

Damn that looks unreal then again alot of decks like this got publicly executed by konami such as TELEDAD and rescue cat otk/ syncro cat

it was murdered in 2 weeks, it turned into the still good but not nearly as good DDT, if you try to make it now, like that exact deck with only legal cards, youd only have like, 20-25 cards lol

Yep thats what TELEDAD is now and i have yet to c a DDT can simeone ship me a decklist of that

for ddt you take out 2 stratos and thats pretty much it, also teledad most of the cards were limited not banned, so you still have most of a deck, as opposed to airblade.

DDT really is the same deck, jsut a bunch of cards were hit, so theres less of them

Then how do you make 40 out of it just PM me a build and ill understand it

i dont know any off the top of my head, and obvi other cards are added lol

I still dont like the spore ban,glow up bulb completely needed it since once per turn is not a balancing factor when the card makes spam or builds on it,but glow up has the legitimate disadvantage of banishing for reuse,isnt completely splashable and needs a lot of deck dedication,and his level change makes him not as good for scaling.

Bulb is pretty silly, it's a more broken PSZ - the only negative is it's one time only effect.

Glow up bulb needs the kill,it wasnt balanced by the once per duel and was completely free.

Spore has the disadvantage of banishing and isnt as easy to splash,so he's okay.

Why did they unlimit Call of the Haunted for? I see no reason to and it's not like anyone is going to use 3 in a deck now arn't they?
